Chez José was established in 1987 in the Burlingame neighborhood of Portland, Oregon (Also happens to be the area that I grew up in). After 30+ years of business they found themselves losing out on business to new-comers in the area. Chez José approached asking for something big and bold that would bring back life-long customers and attract new residents of the neighborhood.

Throughout 2020 we worked together on a new strategy, brand refresh and digital product.

Yes Please Smash Burger approached me looking to create an all-American brand with a psychedelic twist. Though they ultimately decided to move forward with a different brand, this stands as one of my favorite concepts to date.

Squid & Friends is a ski and film crew based out of South Lake Tahoe. Squid & Friends approached me looking for a brand update and a versatile merch design that could be used across a variety of products and colors.
Tulsa Hype Box
Atento Capital was looking to create a welcome box experience for individuals who have been accepted into their Tulsa Remote program. The program offers incentives for remote workers to relocate to Tulsa. We explored a range of directions and products but ultimately landed on a design that mirrored the Tulsa City flag.

During my time with Harlo Interactive, I had the pleasure of working with Timmco Insurance on both a company rebrand and website. Building a new brand for a company with such deep roots proved to be no easy task. Fortunately, Timmco trusted our vision and we were able to give them a brand and website that stands out in a typically visually mundane market.

SFX Athletes
While working with Harlo I had the opportunity to assist in two different startups from conception to beta. SFX Athletes is the world’s first online personalized training app and one of the largest clients I have worked with to date. During my time working with SFX Athletes, we built a brand from scratch, designed a marketing website and full-scale IOS Application.
Portland Timbers Axe Campaign
Every ten years the Portland Timbers celebrate with a photoshoot of the entire city. Axe-wielding fans pose in their most fanatic gear in the hopes that their shot will be used in promotional materials.
LA Galaxy Galaga Game
The LA Galaxy, feeling as though the fan experience was missing during the 2020 pandemic, hired Harlo to design and develop an updated version of the arcade classic Galaga. Using existing source code we were able to give the existing game a facelift with a bit more LA Galaxy pride.
